Today I had, for the first time, difficulty accessing my Gmail account (see attached screenshot). Did Google dare to reduce server capacity since its successful IPO? :D

I've seen that at least half a dozen times over the last few months....don't think it's related to the IPO, but a good suspicion anyway! :laugh3:

When I first signed up, I saw that message twice in the first few days...thought I'd signed up for a truly flaky service, but it's been pretty steady since then.

Any idea when Google actually plans to go public with Gmail? It apparantly takes longer than bringing a whole $30b+ company to the public. :D

I too have seen this message a number of times. Also some times the page says "Loading..." and never does. However, this has never lasted for more than a couple of minutes. So they're still okay in my book. ;)

I can't complain about my gmail account at all, it's been very reliable, and quick too.

BTW, I have been given 4 GMail invites, so if anyone wants one that doesn't have one yet, drop me a message.
