After a crash and swapping some stuff around
I keep getting this message

Another program is using the database
Perhaps libprs500 is already running?
If not try deleting the file J:\sci-fi 13682\A. A. Attanasio\.library1.db.lock


Did that didn't help
uninstalled libprs500 didn't help
Anybody got any idea

It looks like when I moved files (pdf) I had converted
to another folder everything seized up.
I just put them back and now lib is running again
Deleting the above mentioned file stops lib from running

But does this mean I cant shift stuff around anymore?

Bump in case this got missed.

libprs500 doesn't keep track of file locations on your disk. So it must be something other than moving the PDF files.

Ok, it goes like this
when I move the folder
A. A. Attanasio
containing:
.library1.db.lock
&
library1
and three pdf's
from
J:\sci-fi
to another partition:
C:\Documents and Settings\harry.HARRY-4C18FCCC9\Bureaublad

I get this:
Another program is using the database
Perhaps libprs500 is already running?
If not try deleting the file J:\sci-fi 13682\A. A. Attanasio\.library1.db.lock

removed
.library1.db.lock

and libprs500 refuses to run

Moving the folder back to it's original partition
with the

.library1.db.lock
&
library1

removed
makes it work again
and it immmediately makes a new

.library1.db.lock
&
library1

moving it out to desktop
it's back to:

I'm on winxp sp2

Yeah you can't move library1.db That the file contains all your ebooks and associated metadata. (If you want to move it, you should use the configuration dialog in libprs500).

So if I move all the book files
but leave library1.db in that place
it should work ?
