Take a picture of your kindle, while you hold it in front of the picture of the previous posters kindle. Let's see if we can get it right! Go!

I just now saw this. I'll have to do it tomorrow because all my camera batteries are dead.

Why do we need photos of the Kindle? Why do we even want them?

Well, I can understand why some people would like to share photos of their favorite device...

The temptation to throw a spanner in the works by adding my iLiad to the chain is almost overwhelming. But I'll resist it.:p

Well, you'd want to start over from the first (or 2nd) photo ..... but that might be a cool way to get a photo of ALL the existing devices side by side. As long as successive readers comply better than us Kindle owners are doing. (Not bothering with a photo of mine....) ((Heck, i haven't even found time to photograph the ipod i want to sell, to pay for the Kindle I already bought.))

I hate to say that I had a similar thought. Are we all just a bunch of miscreants here? :)

That was uncalled for totally. It's not even funny.

What I think would be really nice is to take the same photo and take photos of it on all the different eink devices and post that photo. That way we can see the same image on all the different devices. Now that would be neat.

Ho Ho! For the win! I LOVE that book. Huge fan of his work (and tools - have many Nessies if you know what I mean ;>)

I had completely forgotten to, that I there were two version of that book in PDF (1920 and 1963)... Did you self-convert or find a nice mobipocket version? Tell tell! :)

Thanx!

"Don't Panic" is supposed to be on the cover. I share the sentiment, though.

I downloaded the mobi version from that thread, as you have probably already figured out. I just finished it last night, and it was extremely entertaining and informative. I've been wanting to go camping again for awhile, now I REALLY want to go camping. :D

There is a forum which is easy to find, where you can find many a person who is a Nessmuk freak/addict, and they collect things, and in particular, you can find many vendors who have recreated his tools and such, in particular, his favorite camping knife and hatchet. It's pretty slick :)

It's a fantastic read. I highly recommend his other easy to obtain book on "Canoeing in the Adirondacks", even just on paper ;) It's a much bigger book, longer read, and a lovely ode to the Father of Ultralight :)

No, that was just insulting and Phugger hasn't the guts to even apologize.
