Hello all, I just joined this forum after hearing about Igorsk on Security Now podcast.

I actually bought the Kindle for my partner and she loves it. I tend to listen to audiobooks more than actually read, but I'm thinking about getting my own Kindle anyway.

It is such a cool device. The GUI is a bit clunky but it's a 1st gen device so I expect it will improve once Amazon gets enough made to kinda catch up on their orders.

I'm new to this forum, but have belonged to forums of one sort or another since BBS days accessing with my 110 baud modem.

Welcome, what kind of computer were you using that long ago? Audiobooks are definately easier on an iPOD (particularly while moving) or other small device but Kindle can do it (even audible) of course.

That was back on my Apple ][+.

And, I have an Audible account since they launched. I think that was late 2000 or early 2001 because I'm sure I had to listen on my Mac for awhile before they made the books iPod compatible.
