Hello everyone! My name is Rafael, I am from Argentina, Patagonia.
I am waiting for a Cybook. I wondered if it is possible download text files with a Nokia N800 I have, and pass them to Cybook via USB. (N800 can be used in usb host mode with OS2008 and little rewiring of a USB mini B connector).

I think this will work, providing the Cybook does not draw too much power. Note that you don't even need to rewire a connector see: USB OTG the easy way (http://konttoristhoughts.blogspot.com/2008/01/usb-otg-easy-way.html).

The N800's web browser should be good enough to navigate any of the MOBI web sites, so it can be used to download MOBI files for the Cybook. DRM-free MOBI files will work on the N800 (FBReader) and Cybook.

Thanks. I will measure power drained by Cybook, when receive it.
Anyway it is possible to put Cybook´s SD into N800, copy files, and return SD to Cybook, but I think it will be easier to do that via USB.
UKMP is nice, but I prefer not to install too many programs in the N800. A rewired cable seems a good idea.

I spoke too soon. The Cybook charges via USB, and requires 500 mA (N800 provides 100 mA). See USB OTG (http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15843).
