Check out this trend chart:

But wait, there is more. If you rank the region list by Kindle, you see that most searches are coming from the US and from Canada. Most searches for the Reader, on the other hand, are originating from Russia. My guess is that the Kindle is a lot less interesting to those who cannot use its Whispernet service. :chinscratch:

It's a lot more than that - if you live outside the US you can neither buy a Kindle, nor even buy any books for it from Amazon. It seems reasonably self-evident that it's of extremely limited interest to anyone outside the US.

Anyone wanting a kindle will go to ww.Amazon.com. Anyone wanting a PRS-505 will go to a retail store or to google.
