hey all - was just looking for some open source fonts to use to embed in epubs. found some good cyrillic, vietnamese, greek, arabic, and a couple others on google fonts and SIL, but can't seem to find any useable chinese sets.

anyone have suggestions? is there even support if i were to embed these into anything but for iOS?

thanks!

The CJK wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_CJK_fonts) page has an extensive list of free CJK fonts (marked with an [F]), many of which are also included with Linux distros.

IIRC, ADE generally supports CJK fonts, but no Ruby characters (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruby_character).

Hi,

The "droid sans fallback" is the chinese font from google.
https://github.com/android/platform_frameworks_base/blob/master/data/fonts/DroidSansFallback.ttf

It seems to be quite good.
