I would like to print powerpoints (standard size) to pdf to view in landscape on the reader. Every way I orient the paper size, and layout the slides are small in the center of the screen and oriented in portrait. Any Tips ?

Thanks In advance

Check out this thread:
http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=9562

for recommendations on formatting PDF's for the Reader. Section III of the PDF file attached to the first post should help you out.

If for some reason that doesn't work you could use the PowerPoint "Save as jpg" option to save the slides as images - clunky, but it might work as a backup.

Good luck and welcome aboard!

Thanks, But I read through that earlier, it doesn't do what I need.

I want to scale existing powerpoint slides down to fit on the reader. Changing the slide size would mess up the formatting too much.

Printing to Jpeg is the desired visual effect but without the clunkyness.

I found a way to do what I was looking for

Print the powerpoint to pdf scaled to fit on a 90x120mm page http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2044/2184071723_314a21f4e6_o.jpg

rotate it 0 degrees with PDFill PDF Tools (free)

Viewing Powerpoints is great, anything large enough to be presented looks good on the reader.

While this works, it would be nice to use the landscape orientation, instead of turning the reader in portrait mode. If anyone finds a different solution, a way to make this process easier, or to batch process let me know.

Why not print it to a 90x120 page in landscape mode?

I'm not sure what your complaint about turning the reader is.
