I have a validation error I am curious to know what it means.

Error:

<Error>
<Message>toc attribute references resource with non-NCX mime type; "application/x-dtbncx+xml" is expected</Message>
<Line>67</Line>
<Resource>OPS/package.opf</Resource>
<Class>com.adobe.common.ReportElement</Class>
</Error>

When i check the area for the package,ocf in regards to the spine on line 67:

<spine toc="ncx">

<itemref idref="frontmatter02"/>
<itemref idref="frontmatter03"/>

found it. in the manifest it was calling for an incorrect ncx file here:

<item id="ncx" href="toc.ncx" media-type="application/xhtml+xml"/>

media-type was wrong and changed to:

<item id="ncx" href="toc.ncx" media-type="application/x-dtbncx+xml"/>

Thank you! I'm so glad I have this website to come to when things like this pop up! We're uploading old, old, old (2009 produced) ebooks and they fail current validations. I have to open the epubs in Sigil's current version, run epupcheck, and I got this error! I knew there had to be SOMEONE out there who came across this before. THANK YOU! :)
