A friend in Augusta, GA was impressed enough by my Sony Reader to buy one for himself. We went to the local CompUSA store which is going out of business. They had several Sony readers, both the 505 and the 500.
The tag on the 505 said 10% off ($269.99) but at the cash register, the price came up as $209.99 which works out to 30% off. What a deal!
All sales are final so if there's a problem, you would have to deal with Sony directly.

BTW, the 500s were marked as $179.99 (10% off), but they may be 30% off also.

$210 is a great deal. CompUSA is closing when... February '08? There isn't much time left...

I'd get one but store here doesn't have any

The one in Augusta had at least 4 of each model.

I'm hesitant about buying anything from CompUSA since they won't be taking returns.
