This is the sixth (6th) and final book of the Arsene Lupin series available through Project Gutenberg.
Leblanc wrote about 20 Lupin books in the first part of the 20th century. Originally in French these are translations made when the books were first published. This is both a blessing and a curse. It is a blessing because any unique French turn of phrase has been rendered into English with its meaning preserved as it was used then and a curse in that they translation style of the period was to over-embellish the English rendering the English translation awkward and dense to our ears almost a century later.
Once you get past the language, the stories and characters are fantastic.
I hope you enjoy them. I have found them very entertaining.
