Ok, this sucks.. I just started the 19-12 update.
It goes to step 1. Update Kernel
and...

that's it.. screen stays that way, for ever.. device doesn't turn on or off...

Help!! Anyone had a similar experience, it so.. what's the solution??

Ok, pfew.. got it working now. Did a reset using the reset button.
Then applied the update again and now it did pass the update kernel section.
I did skip the previous 2007-12-07 firmware update though, might that be a possible cause for the hiccup?

Just received word from Jinke we most likely won't see a new firmware update until at least half Februari because of Chinese New Year holliday season. :(

OK, I have updated my new lbook v3 (hanlin v3), from firmware version V1.23U.071109 to V1.24.071219, without any problem.

I used the 1GB SD card.
