Just want to say hi. Great forum! I am very new to the Sony Reader (actually am getting it for Christmas), and I know very little about these and am trying to learn as fast as I can, so that when I unwrap the reader I can get busy!

Which are the best threads to understand conversion? I have read through a few threads but most of the information about conversion just goes right over my head! I am no techie and probably need to be walked through this. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

For conversion ... I think I'd point you at the wiki to begin with. The Sony Reader (http://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/PRS505) section has a good basic discussion (especially since DaleDe recently re-vamped it :)).

Also, I'd suggest you look at the sections on BookDesigner and Libprs500 as they're both excellent converter apps. They each link back to forum discussion threads, so there's a lot of information behind them.

And, of course, ask specific questions as you come up with them. :yes:
