GoogleGet (http://mesmerized.org/teki/extra/googleget/index.html), now part of iPodSoft (http://www.ipodsoft.com/), is a small Windows program designed to download the latest news from news.google.com (or a local variation) to your iPod in the quickest and simplest way possible.

After a one off configuration you simply run the program and it will instantly connect to Google, download the latest headlines in the categories you specified, format them appropriately and transfer them to your iPod.

Why on earth would you bother? The iPod screen is small and monochrome, and the backlighting is really pretty bad. I listen to my iPod, thank God I don't have to try to read it. Philippe Radley

Yea, I gotta agree. I think ephPod does this anyway. There's a function to download news, but I've never done it since the pod's screen is so crummy.

Nice to know that I can now get news on my phone, my pda and my ipod though. I have no excuse for being ignorant (yea right! ;) )
