No, I don't have too much karma... sadly ;-)

But I've noticed that the past couple times I've given Karma, I get four popups telling me I've given Karma. Just wanted to make sure that the system is working properly. I'm on the latest version of Firefox.

I too am on the latest version of Firefox and I only get two total popups. The first is where I can add a message to the karma and the second is one that wishes that I should also receive karma in the future.

Interesting. I see two of the first type, and four of the second.

I'm not sure whether it affects the actual Karma given, though, because that seems to be a complex formula.

What exactly is Karma on this Forum? I've got a bunch and haven't the remotest idea what it actually means.

If someone approves of one of your posts, then they can click on one of the buttons in the lower left frame of the post and give you karma.

If you want to know why they gave you karma, click on "User CP" on the blue bar near the top of the screen. They should be displayed in the user control panel.

There's also a karma entry in the Wiki (http://wiki.mobileread.com/) that explains it. ;)

Well, this problem seems to have disappeared! I don't know if someone hunted down a bug on the back end, or if something changed with me, but...
