Quoting from a Seattle times interview with "Director of Kindle" at Amazon [1]

------

Is Kindle hackable? "It's not something we're opening up, but all devices can be hacked. That's something people can do."

Will there be APIs for software developers to write Kindle applications? "That's an important future direction for us."

-------

I posted some of my reactions at http://kindlehacks.net/2007/11/amazons-director-of-kindle-has-no.html

What do you guys think?

An excellent lesson in just how many words can be used to say nothing while sounding like you're saying something. Both answers were designed to be both yes and no, depending on your interpretation.

I would have expected a better product from someone with Palm experience!
