Lenovo 7" Android Gingerbread 8GB $200 16GB $250

the new lenovo ideapad looks to be a great contender:
http://www.androidcentral.com/lenovo...apad-a1-tablet

I can't find it on the Lenovo website yet. Specs look similar to the Nook color. 7" Screen, running Gingerbread, w/ Front Camera, rear camera, and available in 8gb, 16gb or 32 gb. The 8gb will list for $200; 16gb for $250. Sounds like the 16gb and 32gb variants are destined for the U.S.

Possibly has GPS too. No mention of Bluetooth, but my guess is it is there, even if it isn't supported initially.

Engadget says it has GPS.

This seems to set an upper limit on what a 7" Amazon tablet could cost in the US. The Nook Color is $250 for 8GB, but it does not have "extras" like cameras and GPS. So $175 to $225, depending on features, is my guess for the Amazon 7" tablet.

One of the articles said they won't be selling the 8GB in the US, so 250 will be the price here.

That pricing seems reasonable.

I'm interested in this--I can access the Amazon content on this, but it looks to have more facility and function than the pending KindleTab.

Lenovo A1 Pink and White on sale today for $167.50, listed on Fatwallet/forums:

In my opinion, better than Fire. I have Nook Color w/N2A, and also Galaxy PLayer 5, or I would have purchased this instead.
