I've been downloading books so I thought I should try to contribute something. This is my first attempt at using Bookdesigner and as a result book may not be very slick.

On first glance it looks just fine. Accent marks too. There is always a problem when converting from ASCII text with the quotes -- some like curvy and some like straight. Sometimes the software goes a bit pear shaped and puts two single quotes where one double is required. Such is the life of those of us who convert books.

By the way, it looks a lot better than the first book I turned out of BookDesigner. Congratulations.

Thanks. I really struggled with Bookdesigner. Strange things kept happening, like the authors name appearing twice in the lrf even though in Bookdesigner it was there only once. I also had problems getting the automated toc to work. Perhaps all this is because I'm working without MS Word.
