I read on the Bookeen blog that the new version adds support for pdf and palm doc formats. Is that going to mean the secure versions of these formats also or just the secure versions of Mobipocket? Any comments?

I don't know. It would be nice if Bookeen could work with eReader to open secure eReader palmdoc pdb ebooks, but we'll have to wait until Bookeen lets us know one way or the other. For now, let us presume you will be able to open unencrypted/unsecure PDFs and Palmdoc files.

I edited the thread title to make it mixed case rather than all caps.

There is no secure version of PalmDoc which is different from the secure format of eReader (which can also read PalmDoc). The MobiPocket application can read PalmDoc already which is why they say they can support it. I doubt they can read secure PDF.
