I just got iLiad, played with it for some time (love it!), created my IDS account, configured wireless connection to IDS, and tried downloading from it. However, according to downloaded files folder, the software release of my iLiad is still 2.10. I have tried connecting to IDS a few more times, I have even requested shell access, hoping that this might help, but nothing changed. The latest release is still 2.10. Any advice on how to update to 2.10.2 (I really want that better battery life)?
Thanks

I'm not sure if there was a new manual for 2.10.2
Check the settings page, there should be a version number in the upper right corner.
Yes, you're right. Version number is 2.10.2 :)
Thanks :grin2:

So far I've been using iLiad for some 5hrs and battery indicator is very low (it seems just about to die). I'm using annotation function a lot, and I know this is a drain on battery, but I was hoping for at least some 10hrs...

Using annotation kills the battery, because it's constantly updating the screen. You'll easily get 10h if you use the device simply for reading.

Yep...and with v 2.11 you gain at least 1 hour.
