You are Kidding, Right? :rolleyes:

MR has a huge library of EPUB books.
(a quick peek shows many done by crutledge are only XHTML inside)

Hmm... no, a valid ePUB must be composed of valid XHTML (or DTBook), HTML is not allowed.

So! Only the file type can be HTML?
Or is it, that the HTML can not violate XHTML rules?

Flightcrew does not complain about HTML extensions.

The extension does not matter at all, you could name your files .doc or .ppt, as long as the content is valid XHTML (and you give them the correct mime-type).
