Can you be more specific? People need details to help you :)
I have not been able to locate a *.pdb file that I have hotsync to my palm. The App info site indicates that it is resident in my palm ....I am not able to pull it up....any suggestions.
Hey,
A .pdb file is a palm database, thus you need to know what the database was created for it is similiar to a .doc file you know that it can be read by microsoft word and word pad among others. So what program is the .pdb for? If it's an isilo document you need isilo to read it etc, etc...
I am still not able to extract the files. The files I downloaded where themselves supposed to open up as programs. After hotsyncing there is no new icon generated like some other programs I have installed.

Have you installed a .pdb or a .prc file? For reference,
.pdb = Palm Database File, which usually belongs to a Palm-based application
.prc = Palm Application
Hotsyncing a new palm application (.prc) makes the application appear normally appear in category "unfiled" in your Palm launcher. Hotsyncing a palm database file doesn't add add any icons to your launcher. The palm database must be accessed with the corresponding palm application.
Hope that helps!
Alex
Yes I have downloaded .prc and .pdb files. The .pdb did not come aasociated with any other program. The .prc still does not show up in the unfiled category. If I pull up info on the system the file is resident in my palm...I cannot launch it. Is there a universal .prc or .pdb reader?. I have installed Zlauncher to see if it would help me launch the application...have not been successful.....
