I'm new proud owner of an sony reader. Ok I couldn't afford the iLiad from iRex.

I had stumbled upon this site in the past and now that I have my reader I decided to become a member. My eyes already hurt from reading the hacking post.

I look forward to talking with people here and learning some info on how to get the most out of my reader.

My question is where should I look on the forums for ways to fix ebooks that I have in pdf format that the text is so small and hard to read. I have a lot of design books that show code and it really is impossible to read it. I understand I'm probably SOL on ebooks that are simply image pdfs, but I have the same issue where the pdfs have editable text.

So if someone would tell me where to start, that would be great!! :D

Oh and I'm from Massachusetts.......forgot to mention that. :smack:

As a starting place for your PDF files, I'd suggest you take a look at Rasterfarian (http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10402&highlight=rasterfarian). :nice:

Welcome to MobileRead. NatCh has pointed you to the best program we know of for reformatting PDF files for the Reader. A lot of us have extracted the text from PDF files but then again, I don't have any design books to worry about.
