I'm a non-tech staffer working on a project creating PDA content for MDs, which will be available (free) on the web. ---I've been charged w/ finding a free reader that the MDs can download to view/use the content---and I have to format the content and create the files for the PDAs.

I've decided on Adobe for Palm and PC---because of its universality and, also, because I don't have $$ for a program to create the files--but have Acrobat---

I have now been told that the people creating the content want it to have pop-ups (in addition to hyperlinks). Can you do pop-ups in PDFs (maybe via note fields in Word??--clearly, I'm just starting out re. knowing what's possible) ?

If not, does anyone know of a low-cost file/writer w/ a free reader in which I can easily format and create content for PDAs? (Silo?? Is it better?)

Many thanks for your help--

Personally I would write the PDA content in html format (given that you know html markup). Then you are free to choose among PDA readers that can convert html to PDA format. One such reader for free would be Plucker.

Just an idea.
