Kindle 6" 3G - Value Priced at $335
People are actually buying this at the inflated price from QVC. Yeah, it includes accessories, but.... Maybe it's the 3 payments of $111.72 that attracts people.

must be one heck of a case/stand The skins are usually around $14 each. A light is what, $20? Screen protectors are worthless and I guess there might be people who'd actually use the earbuds, but don't most people have about 20 of them lying around the house anyway? Or is that just me because I have kids?

The Kindle is just incidental to the deal: it's clearly the accessories that are really being sold - at a rather inflated price!

i kind of want to register and comment just to say what a seemingly rip-off deal that is :P
they just add a ton of accessories to make it seem "worth it". what a way to repackage it. |

That's how they do business. They're just as bad as those TV commercials that double or triple the offer for just the price of separate processing and handling charges for each free item. In the end, 3 widgets for $9.95 end up costing you over $30 after all of the handling charges are added in. And the money back guarantee (if you can get through) will only reimburse you for the cost of the item. You'll never get anything back on those handling charges. That's how they really make their money.
The scam on those commercials (besides the low quality junk they sell) is the so-called processing and handling charges. There's a sucker born every minute. |
