Hi everybody, this is my first post here. I wanted to ask if anyone here has details about a >$10000(no typo) colour ebook reader, which I think was developed by a Japanese company. I read about it several weeks ago, I think, my memory is fuzzy, but it seemed to be a real reader, with interface and all; not one of those e-ink panels. Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks

That would probably be the fujitsu FLEPia (http://www.digitalworldtokyo.com/index.php/digital_tokyo/articles/fujitsus_color_e_paper_comes_to_the_market_at_last _but_at_a_price/). I think the price was misreported originally, as the Fujitsu site (http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://www.frontech.fujitsu.com/services/products/paper/flepia/&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=1&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dhttp://www.frontech.fujitsu.com/services/products/paper/flepia/%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG) that sold them only did so in batchs of 10. People thought the prive for 10 was the single unit price.
ETA the cost for 10 A4 units is 2,625,000 yen, which make the individual price $2224.

And this price is for the prototype version, not the retail which should be cheaper.
