Brand new at this.

Have a Palm Organizer (the $ 100) simple one, and I have downloaded a few books to it. Really neat.

Am trying to find books by Winston Churchill (or about him) that are free, and that I can download.

Have really looked, honest, but can't find any.

Can anyone, perhaps, point me to a link that might have some ?

Are you talking about the British Prime Minister, Winston S. Churchill, or his American novelist cousin, "plain" Winston Churchill?

If you mean the British one, I'm pretty sure that a number of his books are available as commercial e-Books. He only died in 1965, so all his books are still under copyright protection. I recall seeing the 6-volume "History of WWII" as a commercial download.

To follow up, I've just checked on PG. There's lots of stuff there from the American Mr. Churchill, and a few of the early books from the British one - the stuff he wrote during the Boer War.
