Hi,

Now on 7.45 and after converting some books, I am getting this strange action appearing in the final result

None_________________

also getting > or>> on a blank page

Any ideas where it is coming from...

You need to tell us what format your converting from and to and ideally attach a file that reproduces the problem on conversion.

While the example file you provided shows the result, JayLaFunk, it doesn't really help anyone figure out what's causing it. If possible, could you attach a small test "before" EPUB (rather than an example of the "after" results) which produces the problem when it's run through the conversion process? Also as much detail as possible on the settings you use during conversion (i.e. any changes you make to the default settings).

Sorry about lack of info, attached is hopefully more info, before & after...

I was just trying to tidy up the original epub so it was overwriting it, so went back to the original format which was a lit input, think I can see where the problem is but don't know why it has a None inserted...

I'm afraid you're still misunderstanding what we want. We're asking for an ePub file, that, when run through the conversion with a given set of options, produces the behaviour you're seeing. That way, we can look at the ePub and figure out what causes this.

If you scroll down, he pasted the original AFTER the result.
It looks like someone made a scene break out of a dozen hyphens and None gets pasted in front on conversion.

??? This is confusing - first, I only see two text files, not an EPUB, and second, in the "before" text file, I'm seeing a line of underscore characters which become prefixed with the word "None" in the "after" text file - I don't see any hyphens...?

What we were requesting, though, was a small EPUB which, when run through the conversion process, produces this behaviour. That way, one can check to see if there's anything about the HTML markup, for example, that triggers it. It's possible, of course, that it's something about the text itself that causes this, but really one wants an EPUB in order to be check thoroughly for the cause.
