This is a great little adventure story about Atlantis.
Still, after a century or so, The Lost Continent remains an eminently readable and entertaining novel, nothing too profound, just a good lost race novel done the way it should be.

I included one illustration after the title page.

....because it was coming up on one that I was going to do. Now I can continue to work on [fill in the blank]!!!!

Seriously, this is a great read and was part of the Ballantine Adult Fantasy Series that Lin Carter edited back in the early 70s.

Thank you for this one. I plan to read this as soon as I finish the 9 other titles on my Reader, plus the paper edition of Birds Without Wings, by Louis de Bernieres.

You're welcome. I have the Ballantine paperback and several others of the Ballantine series.

I had to look twice because the only Lost Continent I have read was by E. R. Burroughs. This one goes on the Reader the next time its in the pit for more books.
