View Full Version : What about a 1.5 softroot with FOLDERS?

Apologies if this has already been answered, but I can't seem to find it.

I rooted my Nook, and then the 1.5 update came out, which seemed to delete my softroot, so now I'm on the B&N 1.5 firmware. Which is good for one reason-the pageturns are a lot faster now. But the new "shelves" feature is a cruel joke: you have to individually shelf each book, and even then that just groups them together in My Documents.

I want FOLDERS. Folders in the My Documents section. And subfolders in those folders. When I softrooted before, there was something like what I wanted with Trook, but it utilized the touchscreen, the Nook's Achilles Heel. The touchscreen burns up the battery too quickly. I would like to have folders in the My Documents screen...is there a softroot that can do this AND maintain the fast pageturn of 1.5?

Yes, there is a new 2.5.1 softroot that is like the old softroot with the 1.5 update. It is in the '1.5 update is here' (or something like that) thread. I would normally search for it for you, but I am just on for a second because I had to check something else and peeked in here. :)

The thread you want is here (http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108015). For some reason, nookdev aren't supporting or listing the last softroot that came out last month.
