Hi All,

i'm markjoseph, new here. I'm trying to figure out how to post? Where is the magic button?
Also. I moved my book from an indd. to a pdf to epub. It looks great in Adobe reader, in the Firefox add-on, but my italics are missing in Calibre reader. Is that normal? Also sometime the cover appears and sometimes it doens't. Is there any ONE program that can make it work. Sheesh! Plus, I don't know what I'm doing, ha, always an asset. Thanks for your help and sorry if this doesn't belong here.

Welcome MarkJoseph. In the upper left corner of any forum is a button marked New Thread. Unless you are specifically on topic it is better to always start a new thread. We have a welcome forum on the site. There are many forums here. Try and pick on that is close to the topic you are interested in. This will guide it to the experts. Not everyone reads every forum.

If your ePub has embedded fonts, text in italics or bold will not show properly in calibre's ebook viewer due to a bug in the current version of the Qt library. The same is valid for Sigil. The Firefox add-on and ADE don't use this library, so they should display your book correctly.
