This is the apex of general scientific 100 years ago. Yes, there were small branches of special knowledge in cutting edge topics like flight, radioactivity, and physics. It is amazing to see how far we have come in the last one hundred years. It is more amazing to think where we will be in the next one hundred years. When these pages were first written cars were still "new-fangled" and many of the items we take for granted were not even dreamed of yet.

So here is the tenth (10th) installment in the MobileRead version of the Harvard Classics library. This means that we are past the 20% mark.

(I know that the size of the book is large by the standards of the Harvard Classics already published; however, the 100+ drawings included in the text are critical to understanding the materials.)

Woohoo! Thanks! Every additional HC volume is exciting!

I don't think 2meg can be considered a problem in any way. It's pretty easy to fit with a dozen other books, even on the internal memory. The drawings or other content is well worth a little size. And, my gosh, think of how much space a paper version takes up!!!! :D

2MB is nothing for an illustrated book - don't worry about it. Many of the illustrated books I've done have been 3-4MB in size.
