I wish we could also have the Wikipedia for iSilo! Checkmate: We did look into this (read this thread (http://www.turcic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=826&highlight=wikipedia)), but looks a bit daunting to pull off, not to mention that a user would have to have a very large ms or sd to even hold it. The guys at beam-bibliothek.de managed to shrink it to about 40meg in Mobi-format. That's o.k. There is also a TombRaider version of the full english wikipedia (and several other languages) which fits on a 128mb MS (--> http://members.chello.nl/epzachte/Wikipedia (http://members.chello.nl/epzachte/Wikipedia/)). But I don't like having a different reader for each purpose. Up to now iSilo could cover almost everything except DRM protected books and a good encylopedia. I don't know what the German guys did, and whether they condensed anything or not (I suspect there's something going on we don't know, such as some super algorithem to shrink it, or ?). We were all just speculating that an iSilo version would probably be about the size of the TombRaider version, which would fit on a 128mb MS or SD. For those that can deal with this and don't depend on their MS/SD for active use, it's possible. When you compare the TomeRaider files it's about 15meg for german and the English Wikipedia comes in 6 chunks of that size. Compared to this figures the german Mobi version is big (~40mb) and it does not contain pictures ?!
