A wonderful collection of short stories by the writer of 1984 and Animal Farm.

In the short story Shooting an Elephant is one of my all time favorite lines, "In Moulmein, in lower Burma, I was hated by large numbers of people—the only time in my life that I have been important enough for this to happen to me."

Actually, I thoroughly enoy Orwell's work and look forward to seeing some of the essay here that I might not have read.

Thanks!!! I think there are no other books I've read more often than 1984 and Animal Farm (due to my English teacher having a thing for Utopian novels). I also read a couple of his short-stories, so cannot wait to read these soon.
