We wish some were hanging around here. If there are, they have not made themselves known.

I think a rep from kobobooks has posted occasionally up in the General forum.

If they are "hidden" how would we know?

Apparently if you say you like a Kindle and you answer questions while correcting inaccuracies in other peoples posts you are a representative of Amazon.

I think there might be a Pocketbook Rep on the boards as well.

Asked if you are an Amazon rep?

Because you answer question and correct false rumors?

Okay......

I rather like the fact that companies have reps here. I appreciate getting the "word" straight from the horse's mouth, as that silly saying goes. I find it a valuable tool. Back in the day we had to write an email and wait a couple days, or play phone-tag and just hope to get through to a human.

I like how technology has progressed to the point where we can get almost instant tech support. Twitter is especially good for that sort of thing. I messaged a couple companies over the past year or two, with concerns, and got an immediate reply -- usually from the head of the company him or herself.

How many time we should explain this ?
eReaders other than your cheerful Kindle can read ePub, so the they can overcome geo restriction problem . Consumers can easily buy from other sellers even in their own countries which is impossible for Kindle owners.
Your text is so biased, we have discussed this point several times, you seemed convinced but each time you return to your first position whenever you see a new member question here ,
You cannot overlook this amazon flaw by repeating those biased statement 7 days a week

You are really a prof-CASH i see

Instead of explaining your false "advices" to newbies here, you are trying to create a polemic hum :D

Why you try to cover amazon big flaws ?

Erictoma, you definitely fit the description of a troll.

Don't you dare accuse us of giving false advice to newbies.

This board is based on giving the best advice we can to those who ask for it.

Oh my god, get a grip here! No one is being forced to buy a Kindle. There is no one who needs to be 'saved' from Amazon's 'big flaws'. There is no vast conspiracy to trick you into buying a Kindle. How about this:

Buy whatever you want to.
Hype whatever you want to.
Go ahead and diss whatever you want to, even.

But for the love of god, stop pretending you're looking out for the 'newbies'. You're trolling, plain and simple. And except for this instance of getting me to rise to the bait... you suck at it.

If Prof Crash is an Amazon rep, it is kinda weird she only registered in July this year. Even I have been around almost a year longer.

Man you and diap have some serious Kudos going on there!

Karma is a funny thing. If you happen to post something that really grabs people, then karma goes through the roof. But not always. Very unpredictable sometimes. But dissing people who have loads of karma doesnt really get you too far. They have that karma for a reason.

I tend to find that posting information people find helpful and posting in the lounge. People enjoy a good chuckle and relaxing.

There is more to this community then e-books which some folks miss out on. When you do post about e-books, posting information that is correct helps.

And yes posting pictures that show off certain body parts in a tasteful manner seems to help. ;)

This is a snarky but respectful site. People can agree to disagree in a manner that is informative, helpful, and positive.
