I don't have time to contribute books, but I did want to go on record publicly thanking all of the fine people who have worked so hard to make these Sony Reader editions available.

I haven't downloaded them all, but they sure do tickle my imagination. And in some cases remind me of books I had meant to read but have them on my hard disk in my Project Gutenberg folder and with so many thousands there it's hard to remember which ones I had wanted to get to.

I wish this forum allowed a massive karma giving -- I'd give each of you karma, but as it is I can hardly keep up with all the great new offerings each day.

So a huge thank you to all of you! :happy2:

exactly my view

and you can give karma, just start with the top and give each one you like karma until they say that's all for today. then you wait 24 hours and start giving again. so what if you give the same person karma, if they deserve it they should get it

now the system is kinda neat, it keeps track where you gave it so you can't give it to the same thread twice. maybe the same person in a thread twice, not sure about two people in the same thread

you can't give it to the same person twice in a row, you have to give it to two others before you give it again to the same person. course that's easy 'round here as there's so much to karma about.

so when you download something you like, karma 'em. that brit fellow harry has posted like quarter of my books and now he's posted an index. that deserves karma. alex the fellow that started the whole shebang rolling deserves karma plus there's a lot of smart fellows and gals that should get some too.

i've been in the download section so long i almost forget the rest of the zite.

give a hoot, give karma. if you can download, you can give karma

Second and third the motion. Many thanks to all who have provided the wealth of great stuff.

My tastes must be the similar, and unfortunately for me, most of the PG conversions I've already read long ago on my old Rocket eBook, but nonetheless, it's great to see them available.

One I missed somehow wasCaptain Blood which just finished. It was a load of fun, even though I saw the old Errol Flynn movie years ago.

As the list builds, am sure will find many more worth reading, or re-reading.

Thanks, guys!
