I already own a GEB 1150 and have given aware 3 others to friends as gifts. I've been considering buying a REB 1200 (or 2150) to check out a color reader. I have a few questions I hope to get answered here.

Can the 1200 screen be rotated like the 1150?
Does the 1200 work with the GEB Librarian?
It appears the 1200 doesn't have a USB connection - are the connection options as effortless as a USB?
If you've tried both, which do you find easier to read from i.e. easier on the eyes?
Is the battery life of the 1200 acceptable? (at least 10 hours)

Any other opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks for your help!

The 1200 screen cannot be rotated or inverted (the 1150 screen also cannot be rotated, only invert top & bottom -- the 1100 can handle all orientations)

The 1200 does with GEB librarian.

The 1200 uses an ethernet connection, so it should be absolutely no problem. Connect it to a router / hub and you're ready to go.

Overall, I like the 1100/1150 better, as it is more rugged and easy to carry around. The 1200 is a bit fragile and heavy, and also has some minor "flicker" due to the color screen. However, it DOES have a bigger screen and resolution ... if you're happy with your 1150, don't upgrade to the 1200. Think of upgrading to the e-ink models.

The battery life is around 9-10 hrs, but that depends on who you get it from and what is the battery condition.
