Has anyone else read the Brighthand review (http://www.brighthand.com/article/Sharp_SL-C760_Review) of the new Sharp Linux power PDA? It makes me almost drool. Worth a switch away from Palm?

Just think about it... you can directly play your mpeg2 movies from it, and you have a 640x480 display which is just wonderful to read ebooks with.

Yes, I saw that, and the instant I read that it was not going to fit in my shirt pocket, I stopped reading. Size is absolutely critical to me, which is why I continue to use my Sony 615, since it works nicely. I should add, however, that I dislike and would not use the Zaurus keyboard: I am a touch typist and a keyboard is either full-size or I won't use it. I am, additionally, puzzled by PDA companies that make large units: the great virtue of a handheld is easy portability. If I am going to have to carry something in my hand or case, I would rather use a small laptop. radleyp

Yeah, also given the pricetag of >$800... not exactly cheap. Notebooks on the other hand have dramatically decreased in price so it is difficult to draw the line when to buy a PDA and when to buy a notebook. I also think that the latest Sony Clie's are overpriced (happens every time that when Sony releases a later model 3 months later, the older ones drop in price at least 20-30%).
