The 12th volume of my H. Rider Haggard Anthology, with the following books:

1. Pearl-Maiden: A fantasy adventure story set in Jerusalem at the time of its destruction by Rome in 70 AD.

2. Stella Fregelius: Supernatural love story, invention of a device that induces telepathy between sympathetic parties, and ultimately leads to communication with the dead. The characters emotional lives and turmoils parallel Rider's actual experiences, this being his most autobiographically inclined of all his novels, with many deeply personal passages.

3. The Brethren: A medieval supernatural romance of Saladin and the Crusades, one of Haggard's best stories, even though not as widely known or appreciated as his African fantasies

4. Fair Margaret (Illustrated!): A Swashbuckling romance of old Spain.

As always, enjoy!

Harry, you are the man! Thanks for all this great stuff. If I didn't already have a Reader, your content alone would have made me buy one. :)

Travis.. You are on the button with your remark that if you didnt have a reader Harry's books would convince you to buy one.

I did all my researching an ebook device online and after finding the Sony Reader I found this site and seeing all the great free books available here I began downloading books, mostly uploaded by Harry.. Thank you Harry. I love old books.. Well old stories. I'm always ruining old books by dragging them with me to the river to read or at the beach. pages falling out etc.

I bought the reader largely becasue of all the books available for it.

Haggard is gtreat. Talbot Mundy is right up there with him!

The Kybher rifles is an awesome book.
