Yeah, well, it's not exactly a full digital Harry Potter, but considering Ms. Rowling's shortsighted stance on e-books (http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9635), it's a milestone. LibreDigital (http://www.libredigital.com/), the European unit of NewsStand, is letting you search and preview books from Harry Potter publisher Bloomsbury through their "Look Inside" online service.

The service is Flash-based and you can try it out here (http://www.bloomsbury.com/BookCatalog/ProductItem.asp?S=&sku=22044114&EmailMe=&mscssid=X3EUVN6WDM1M8KUTFGCX0Q6528HW3MF1).

Thanks to David of TeleRead for pointing out (http://www.teleread.org/blog/?p=6447) the news.

Well, not a single line of the novel is visible. Just front ~, back cover & an introduction by A. Smith. imho it's a bluff package. It's less than a teaser.
Normally you would get at least the 1st chapter to read.

It's still a far way to go for a legal Harry Potter e-book.
