Here is Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus. It was originally written in 1818 by Mary Shelley.
The cover painting is my own, based on the description and illustrations in the book (long hair, pathetic and sad--but basically more human-looking than the movies make him). Of course, I did have to add a very small Boris Karloff likeness to the cover painting. :)
This is one of those times I wish the Reader was color, because the color version of my painting shows much better contrast than this grayscale version.
The two illustrations inside are from the original 1831 version. Enjoy!
NOTE: Updated and cleaned up formatting, added linked Table of Contents.

...for your work. (Wonderful covers!!! Gorgeous!)
Question:
I was looking through this one and there appears to be 2 (?) blank pages between some chapters. Additionally, some (?) chapters begin in the middle of the screen.
Suggestion:
I see, also, that you're not indenting between each paragraph for all your uploads. (This may be your preference; if so, then please ignore this suggestion. Indenting is MY preference, and it may not be YOUR preference! However, on SOME lines that go the edge of the margin, the result below is what happens. For example:
of the division of property, of immense wealth and squalid poverty, of rank, descent, and noble blood.
"The words induced me to turn towards myself. I
Please accept my thanks for the work you're doing on this and the other classics you've done.
I just now saw my cut and past from Frankenstein didn't work out.
Thank you,
Don

Thanks for pointing that out to me Dr. Drib. I fixed the chapter breaks (I don't know how I didn't notice that the first time), but I can't figure the the indent problem. I actually prefer my paragraphs indented as well, but I can't get this text file to cooperate.
Hopefully it's not so bad that you can't enjoy the file...:( I can live without it, but I do prefer it so I will keep trying. Thanks for the heads up!

Hi all, I posted a more current Frankenstein.lrf file at the beginning of the thread.
I fixed the chapter breaks and fixed the indenting between each paragraph (finally!). Sorry for the multiple posts, it took me a while to figure it out. :) Enjoy!

I just uploaded a new improved version of this file. I updated and cleaned up formatting, added linked Table of Contents and tweaked the cover. This version is much better than my previous version. :)
