Jules Verne's classic novel of underwater adventure. Most English translations of this novel are abridged; this is a complete (and very good!) translation.

I've done a fair amount of tidying up of the PG original - improving the formatting, converting all the "in line" footnotes into proper linked "endnotes", etc. The result is, I think, much nicer to read than the original PG version.

Consider handing your changes back to PG (i assume you worked on the HTML version). There are very few HTML versions optimized for ebook readers.
H. G. Wells "War of the Worlds" is one of those.
