I'm sorry to show my ignorance yet again, but I can't work out how to uploaded corrected or improved versions of ebooks and have the message show in the forum.

Last night I went to the library, found the original message about Lorna Doone by R.D. Blackmore, edited that message and changed the version number etc, attached the new version, and uploaded the new version and the message. But though version 2 and the edited message show in the library the edited message does not show today in the ePub uploads forum.

What am I doing wrong or leaving out? I have a corrected version of The Daughter of Time that I'd like to upload tonight, but I'd like to find out the correct procedure before I go any further.

Regards, Alex

That's the normal behaviour, editing a post does not change the "last post" date in the thread. If you want the thread to be updated and shown as unread for all users, you have to make a new post in the thread. We all do that.

Thanks, Jellby. It's so simple when one thinks about it.

Exactly. Edit the first post in the thread to replace the book, then post a new message to the end of the thread to say that you've done so.

Look at the "Haggard Anthology Vol 3" posts, in which I've just done exactly this.
