Sure thing. In fact it's on it's way here right now. And well of course I don't have my computer crash on me again, I am leary right now, :huh:

I just received the Jacket. I like it. It is built very well, hold it pretty secure. Oh and that little flap thing, well I just turn it over and slip it into it's little slot when I have the book opened up anyways, so it keeps it out of the way.

The red isn't a in your face red, it's more a subdued rosy red, mauvy red? It's a nice color and not ostentatious?

Ps. I didn't knock off the little doo hicky that that other person knocked off, LOL. And for the life of me I can't remember what he called it, the stick shift? well that thing.........it survived :D

I think the thickness may be about the same BUT since the reader is encased in that sleeve, it gives it cover some added height when laying down on it so it's not right on the face, so if that would help? All in all it's nice and I like the little flap so when you close it it keeps it closed. I haven't actually had time to lay down and hold it and read yet, still working on getting my computer back up the way I want it as in *tweaking* it now... and reading on the weekend won't happen with the DH home.....

You know, to help protect the screen further, you could put a piece of cardboard in the biggest pocket. You could decorate the part that sticks out by printing something and glue it on. That could be a butterfly,:smiley2: or a reading plan list.

A small piece fo cardboard combined to the leather can go a long way in protection.

BTW I'd call that colo(u)r dark pink or rustic rose.

Yea, I am not sure this is a guys color.... as I said my camera is not depicting the color right but I would say more of a dusky rose color.....

Don't forget they have BROWN which looks like it would be nice too.

Ps. Got my external usb hard drive and have all my stuff already copied over to it........ worked very good. :) Dang I wish I thought of this earlier, never really crossed my mind..... and so glad to get away from the CD burning which I couldn't stand.

I would still burn DVD/CDs or DVD/CD-RW.
External HD is exactly the same HD as the one you have inside your PC. It might fail, the question is when(c)?

That may be true, but burning to me is a pain in the butt and I don't think this will fail right away, if it does I do have the existing data on the cd's now. I figure if the drive seems to get sluggish or something wrong, get another and then transfer to new. Heck they are cheap enough.

Actually in all my years of computers I have not had a hard drive fail me yet...... I may have a windows crash but the hard drives have always worked. Cd's do not as in my case I have a few that are useless with my info.

I've set up a "Briefcase" with my files (it'll synchronize them for me) both on the HD and my 4gb flash drive. I just do an "update all" operation periodically, and anytime I've done something significant to either set, and I'm good to go. I figure the likelihood of both sets going out is small enough to live with, and anything external that took them both out, would most likely get any CD/DVD backups as well. :shrug:

I've been using it to back up my documents and data files and it seems to work pretty well.

I just ordered the brown one. I was doughting to buy it until I saw a damage on the right side of the reader. There is a little damage on the chrome strip. To prevent more damages I decided to buy one. :)

How long did it take to get to you? Do they send an email with tracking information or is it send via USPS? I see where they have charged my card, but that's all. I guess I am just anxious.

It came through the post office priority mail, they shipped it I believe one or two days after they said they would, but it got it very fast..... I have no complaints at all. It has postal tracking but I find that usually useless until the item has arrived. Yes they did email me and told me it shippped on the 28th..... they also supplied a post office tracking number (just went and looked)

Thanks Karen, I know what you mean about Postal tracking. Worthless.. I am glad though that it is vis USPS since I am usually in and out all day. I saw just a few minutes ago on their site that they were shipping on the 4th. I guess that's when their inventory comes in. BTW that was an awfully quick response. Well, I got my brown cover and I love it! The little closing strap doesn't bother me. Just fold the front back and put the closing strap inverted in it's opening. Is it clear or are pictures needed? :p

That is what I do with the strap, just tuck it in. Sometimes I don't even do that. I just don't find it to get in my way.

I received my red case on Saturday. While I don't exactly see any pink hues, the cover is not as red as the one sony sells. The best thing about the case is that I don't have to fight with the snap circle. It is very nice protection. It reminds me of the original cases that ebook devices use to come with at purchase. The one that immediately comes to mind is the Hiebook. That was a nice case. Too bad I had to spend 40 bucks to Sony to spend 40 dollars again to M-edge. The good is that I finally have a nice case that protects as well. Hopefully in the future more colors will be offered. I really wish I could have a white case...or baby pink...just dreaming.

Would there be any problems using one of those Verilux lights with the case, it's not too thick for the clip?

I can't answer that question for you Bitgod, sorry. I can only tell you that it's a bit thicker than the stock cover. My GreatPoint 3-LED light still fits but you need to force it on. :p

Was at their site and saw that the jackets are available in white and pink! I really wanted these two colors :party2:. I bought the white ( really was envious of the Nuut jacket) and will return later for the light pink. Too bad they don't have a discount when you buy your 2nd or third case.

I really don't know what it is made of, but it feels like quality. Maybe send an email to M-Edge would be good. I really love my brown jacket and it seems to be very durable too. :cool:

They told me it was made of leather....... I don't recall what the inside was, it's sort of like some kind of suede or microsuede? either way it's not made cheaply, you really will like it. I think M-Edge has a winner here and IMO it would be to their advantage to continue to make it in more colors as the reader gets more and more popular and the word about this cover spreads.
